[摘要]当下正是人们普遍关注禽流感疫情之时,民生人寿和华安财险两家保险公司先后推出专门针对人禽流感的定期人寿保险,引起了保险界极大关注,褒贬不一,批评者认为这是哗众取宠;保费没有精算基础;发生大规模赔付怎么办。本文却认为推出人禽流感保险是新兴保险公司适应市场勇于创新的很好表现,开展特色业务一般都是通过经验估计制定费率,尔后在实践中不断调整和完善;在国家和整个社会全体动员积极预防禽流感的情况下,导致疫情大规模扩散引发大规模保险赔付的概率微乎其微,不存在影响其它险种客户利益的情况。 [关键词]人禽流感保险;市场需求;产品创新;保险费率;保险精算;社会管理功能 [中图分类号] F84062 [文献标识码] A [文章编号]1004-3306(2006)01-0078-02 Abstract: In response to widespread concerns with the bird flu epidemic, Min Sheng Life and Hua An Property launched their term life insurance plans targeted at bird flu in succession. This attracted a lot of attention and received split comments. Critics thought it a flubdub. Their justification is that since there is a lack of actuarial experiences for pricing this product, what if there is an eruption of a large amount of claims? In contrast to this stance, this article holds that bird flu insurance is a courageous innovation by new insurance companies to adapt to new market situations. Special insurance products are usually priced based on an estimated experience and then are fine toned as actual experiences are being accumulated. Given the fact that the whole country and all social resources have been mobilized to prevent the spread of bird flu, the possibility of wide spread of this epidemic is very slim. Therefore, the interests of policyholders to other types of insurance will not be undermined because of the launch of this new plan.
